Through the cooperative efforts of
Harford County Department of Parks and Recreation
and
Cedar Lane Sports Foundation

Cedar Lane Regional Park will be the premier recreation facility in Harford County, Md. Cedar Lane Regional Park is a state of the art 110 acre multi-sport recreational complex for local and regional use. This unique facility is a cooperative effort between the public sector, Harford County Parks and Recreation and the private sector, Cedar Lane Sports Foundation. This is the first regional complex to be located in Harford County. Cedar Lane Regional Park will help take the burden off of the more traditional sites that are currently used by existing Recreation Council programs. The facility will be available to all Recreation Councils for use. The facility will be managed by the Cedar Lane Sports Foundation in concert with Harford County Parks and Recreation. The Foundation's goal is to not only manage and maintain the facility but to continue to make improvements; artificial turf, lighting, indoor facilities, etc. We want to create a professional atmosphere for each participant at Cedar Lane Regional Park.

Construction is almost completed and the Park anticipates a full opening in Fall 2008.

Cedar Lane Regional Park will offer 10 full-size fields plus three fields that are 1-1/2 the size of a full-size field. These surfaces can be used for training, camps, games or during tournaments can be utilized as 9 additional small-sided fields. Cedar Lane Regional Park also has a 90 foot baseball diamond and a 1.6 mile secured jogging/walking/biking trail.

The highest quality and quantity of grass seed, fertilizer and surface materials were used to prepare each field. Each field will be maintained at the highest level to provide the highest quality of field for every level of athlete. Cedar Lane Regional Park fields will be periodically rested, reseeded and pattern mowed to ensure each field is the highest quality.
